This route operates only in the peak travel direction, therefore, it only travels east to Detroit in the morning and west to Farmington Hills in the afternoon. It connects several areas of the Grand River Avenue corridor to destinations in downtown Detroit. Heading south, the route operates on Halsted Road south to Grand River Avenue east to Farmington Road south to the M-5 freeway east back to Grand River to Beech-Daly Road south to Interstate 96, then traverses it to Michigan Avenue east into downtown Detroit.

This route operates only in the peak travel direction, therefore, it only travels east to Detroit in the morning and west to Farmington Hills in the afternoon. It connects several areas of the Grand River Avenue corridor to destinations in downtown Detroit. Heading south, the route operates on Halsted Road south to Grand River Avenue east to Farmington Road south to the M-5 freeway east back to Grand River to Beech-Daly Road south to Interstate 96, then traverses it to Michigan Avenue east into downtown Detroit.

History

  • November 27, 2006 - Service launched as a merger of routes 810 and 820 that bypasses Livonia (except for a very small portion along Grand River) due to that community opting out of SMART.
