This route primarily services Crooks Road between Corporate Drive and Big Beaver Road, Big Beaver Road between Crooks Road and Livernois Road, Livernois Road between Big Beaver Road and Maple Road, Main Street between Maple Road and 11 Mile Road and 11 Mile Road between Sherman Drive and Main Street, ending at the Royal Oak Transit Center. Select school-day trips service Royal Oak High School.

History

  • November 27, 2006 - Midday service is eliminated.
  • April 4, 2016 - Route is extended from Somerset Collection to the Troy Transit Center, while adding select school-day service to Royal Oak Middle and High Schools and eliminating service to Somerset Collection's north building.
  • December 6, 2016 - Service to the Troy Transit Center is temporarily suspended due to a dispute between the owners of a nearby strip mall complex and the city of Troy, forcing the route to serve the Royal Oak Meijer store. A free shuttle service operated by the city in conjunction with SMART was operated in place.
  • June 19, 2017 - Service to the Troy Transit Center resumed. Service to the Royal Oak Meijer is, in turn, discontinued.
  • September 6, 2021 - Service to Somerset Collection and the Troy Transit Center is discontinued, and in place, the route is extended north to Crooks Road and Corporate Drive and south to the State Fair Transit Center. Midday service is reintroduced, and evening service is introduced.
