The roof equipment has been removed, that much I know, it looked as though there may have been other parts missing as well but I'd have to get a closer look. I know that when 125 and 181 went to Seashore and the Illinois Railway Museum, they had their roof equipment removed for transport and once they arrived, the museums reinstalled them after they took delivery of the coaches. 132 would be another example. Tom1122
With 132 in Vancouver, it looks like that 110 won't be the last time any of us will get to ride a BBC trolley on city streets. I'm sure TRAMS will let it out on a charter sooner or later.

And let's not forget 125 and 181 before our passports expire.

And let's not forget 125 and 181 before our passports expire. They said they're hoping to have another trolley excursion in late September or early October, 132 should be fully restored by then, hopefully 2805 will be fixed by then as well, it would be awesome to see a BBC running side by side with an E902. Last I heard they wrote it off after it got heavily vandalized... I don't think it was vandalized per say but rather is missing some parts thanks to metal thieves, last I heard (this was a few weeks ago) was that they were looking for replacement parts and they'd actually contacted the TA in Mendoza to see if they had any parts they could sell them. But like I said this was afew weeks back, they may have given up since then, if so that's unfortunate.

M. Parsons
Was looking for pics of Duwag cars, and one thing lead to another and I was off searching again for BBC's in Bulgaria. Success this time. The goods pics are on page 3 IIRC. http://forum.gtsofia.info/index.php?topic=2972.0 If anyone wants to translate, there might be intel in these: http://news.plovdiv24.bg/169320.html http://www.dariknews.bg/view_article.php?article_id=542076 http://news.plovdiv24.bg/169293.html http://news.plovdiv24.bg/153714.html http://news.plovdiv24.bg/150917.html http://news.plovdiv24.bg/146546.html From this page http://forum.gtsofia.info/index.php?topic=2747.40 Part of Maritsa newspaper articleAnd trolleybuses those to come, no place to move in this resized transport scheme, said Angel Batakliev owner of former municipal enterprise "Public Transport". At the moment of the 19 standing vehicles, 8 vehicles are in the garage. Of those who run on the lines are at a total loss, because there are no passengers, he added. Another 28 Canadian trolley, stand in the port of Burgas. The company, which we supply contract is not fulfilled its obligation to provide spare parts, said Angel Batakliev. Trolleybuses were impounded pending the result of litigation. Other cars had to take off from Germany late last year but were delayed. So, it seems the broker who worked between ETS and Plovdiv either couldn't get spare parts, or lied about spare parts and hence, lawsuits. Apparently 8 made it to a garage?! Mind you, 19+8 doesn't = 28. This post was form September 2, 2010.

Tom1122
Does this mean 8 BBC coaches made it to the garage for the transit system that bought them? One coach still unaccounted for. Mark Walton
I see Mandel and most of Council have been "rewarded". "Councillors, I gave you bad advice"-Bob Boutiller November 13, 2009"I'm not happy with the bill of goods we were sold"-Kim Krushell Wishful thinking or for real? M. Parsons
I see Mandel and most of Council have been "rewarded".Wishful thinking or for real? Anyway, Krushell got her "reward" Monday night. She's probably too stupid to realize that 60% of people voted for somone other than her. I would be evaluating why I got such poor support if I were her. Obviously, the majority of the people in her ward don't think she's doing a good job. M. Parsons
From Metro on October 19... this is what Krushell had to say about her win: “The thing about democracy and the thing about an election is that you take a risk. You put yourself out there. You try to say to people, look, I’m trying to do good work, and the end result is you’re either going to get the job or you’re not.” Well Kim, only 40% of those in your ward think you're doing a good job. Terrible.
