I saw an ex.MT looking Orion VII on Warden near Danforth. It was wrapped with NYC paint and decals

That isn't a TTC Orion but alright. Seems like that would be 0103.

The one with the NYC paint and decals would be 0101

Does Cullingford have more than one VII? I know they have one in a pseudo TTC livery... unless they repainted it.

This one is 0103.  I last saw it back in 2014 in Port Credit. The run number box was set to 52 but of course they can change it over time but other markings on the body tells me its 0103.

IIRC, I saw it around last year during the shuttles.

BTW, at this point "last year" would generally qualify as "a while".

8146 and 8149 were both broken down and out of service when the movement of 8142-8166 happened, so they never got transferred over. 8159 has been continuously out of service since September 2015, except for a one week period in January/February (actually the week right before the movement of 8142-8166 to Birchmount).

This sort of situation is not uncommon considering the amount of movements that occur. Another case is why 1796 and 1827 are still at Malvern when the rest of 1794-1829 are at Wilson. My records indicate that those two units were also broken down for the week preceding the large movement.

With the deliveries of the LFS units continue at Arrow, they have about 90 buses from the #12xx series left and 33 from the #79xx losing a number of these to Queensway in order to retire the D40LFs. Could more #12xx migration to Malvern move more #17xxs to Wilson? Birchmount would get around almost up to 70-80 #81xxs.

#1794 is actually still at Malvern. Wilson still has #1700-#1702, #1706, #1714, #1732, #1751, #1789-#1791, #1795-#1797, #1799-#1826, #1828 and #1829 last time I checked. Some of the #17xxs from Malvern were sent to Wilson to retire the #94xxs late last year.

My appologies, you're correct. I should have double checked my numbers on the 17xx before posting...

Since there's no more buses at Wilson to replace, there likely won't need to be any further movement in the short term except to share the overcrowding between all divisions.

However with the deliveries of the new streetcars falling behind schedule, it won't be possible for some buses to be used in any streetcar route like the 501. They have not opened a temporary garage yet since Concord was pulled out last year.

1329 ran out this afternoon with a 512 MtD run and now sitting there. Probably moved during the weekend

1377 and 1385 moved to Wilson over the weekend

This buses must have presto readers enable, explains why they will mostly appear on the 512 till MtD gets more presto buses.

Again, I thought Wilson got rid the last of the batch from this series moons ago to Malvern. Could they still dump more #8100s to Birchmount if this continues?

I believe this could be something related to the Presto installations/retrofits.

They are probably temporary giving the randomness in the movement. The moved last night with a random sequence of numbers. These buses came from Arrow, not Malvern.

This probably has nothing to do with presto but a bus shortage at Wilson cause they are running more buses than last board and nothing moved there until a few move there yesterday. Get your facts right, Wilson already has a fair amount of presto enabled buses and wouldn't need buses presto enabled buses to move there. Wilson needs 241/237 instead of 238/229 for AM/PM peak.Wilson also send all their artics out on the 196 too which points to a 40 ft bus shortage at their division.
