$-Two teenage boys who look like they're brothers boarded the bus but one didn't pay the fare and the driver summoned the farescoffer to see if he paid the fare. Sounds like a deadhead from 95 to me. They usually deadhead from Kingston Rd using Ellesmere-Meadowvale-Sheppard while the UTSC branches use Military Trail-Morningside-Sheppard, although I have seen the occasional deadhead via Ellesmere-Markham Rd before.

Oil-Oil was leaking from under the engine of 7828 while it was laying over at the shared 21 Brimley/131E Nugget bus bay at Kennedy Station (Bay #5) around 5 o'clock this afternoon. The driver of the leaky bus radioed Transit Control and told them the bus was leaking oil and he put it OOS till a relief bus (as mentioned above) came, but it was a 5:15PM bus which means the 5:00PM trip to Steeles got cancelled as a result.

Are the trump units still going to be around for a while? Do they still serve their purpose? Do they still make them? I guess as the older buses and street cars get retired, they get reused in new equipment. Are they any plans to replace them?
