Looks like 6600 did show up?

I really doubt that. No one’s has seen 6600, there are no photos, and it’s not tracking. This person was probably mistaken too.

Mike Macas (Chief Engineer) just posted on his social media profile something very interesting.

According to him, one of each of the new Electric order will began road testing along with one of the 37xx series. Starting tomorrow we should expect to see them all over the city.

Why are they doing the 3700 now. That should have been done when they did the study back in 2019.

Let's say hypothetically they fail the test, it's not like they'll cancel the order.

The 37xx is used as a point of reference. So they can see the positives and negatives between the old fleet and these new vehicles.

The second chance would have been before they ordered another 300 of them.

Spotted the testing convoy (3714, 6000, 6601) on the westbound 401 at Weston Rd just before 7 this morning. Apparently, they were headed to Humberwood Loop to begin shadowing 36.

I caught them (probably at the end of the run) after they left a 20 minute layover near Finch and Alness with 3714 parked a block ahead
(this was out of the front window of a 36)

Seems like an issue on the Flyers, i've noticed it on the 7200s and 9400s

Its a Luminator issue. HSRs 22xx and newer Novas have sign issues, Brantfords 2023 Novas also have sign issues, same with the Miway 2022-2023 XDE40s.

That's strange since TTC's new 70-71xx Novas have way fewer sign problems at least based on what i've seen

6601 might not have overhead charging capabilities
there's no sign of an overhead charger and I saw it using a cable at Arrow earlier today when went there

charge.png
And to anyone wondering, this was taken from outside the property from a place that you could walk to normally

It does have an overhead charger it’s just not visible because the roofline is hiding it

That makes more sense
I'm still a surprised about how hidden it is though considering how visible it is on the other buses
