This route primarily services Islington Avenue between Lake Shore Boulevard West and Steeles Avenue West. It also provides service on Kipling Avenue between Steeles Avenue West and Finch Avenue West. Its northern terminal is Steeles Avenue West and the southern terminal is Lake Shore Boulevard West for its one branch, 337.

History
- February 18, 2007 - For a trial period, the northern end of the route is changed to an on-street loop. Buses operate through the Steeles/Kipling Loop, south on Kipling Avenue, east on Finch Avenue West, and south on Islington Avenue to route. This trial route change is made permanent.
- November 23, 2008 - Route is made bike rack equipped.
- February 15, 2015 - Moved to Queensway Division.
- September 6, 2015 - Route is renumbered from 311 to 337 to be consistent with its daytime counterpart.
- February 12, 2023 - Due to the Finch West LRT construction, the northern-end looping is temporarily changed to loop clockwise.
- July 30, 2023 - With the completion of construction at the Finch/Kipling intersection, the north-end routing is reverted to the original counterclockwise looping.
