Route Details
This route serviced the industrial area of Kodiak Crescent, Whitehorse Road, Chesswood Drive, and Champagne Drive. This route also provided service on Alness Street between Finch Avenue West and Steeles Avenue West and the Alness industrial area along Martin Ross Avenue, Flint Road, and Supertest Road. Its southern terminal was Sheppard West Station and the northern terminal was Steeles Avenue West for its one branch, 117. This route only operated during the daytime on weekdays.

History
- November 23, 2009 - Route is rerouted off of Wilson Heights Boulevard and now operates on the bus-only lanes on Dufferin Street and the York University Busway.
- June 21, 2010 - Route made accessible and bike rack equipped.
- June 22, 2014 - Due to a system-wide reorganization of route branch designations, branch 117 to Steeles via Flint is redesignated 117B and southbound early morning service to Wilson Station is redesignated 117C.
- December 17, 2017 - With the opening of the new Line 1 extension, the route is rerouted to operate via Chesswood Drive replacing the discontinued 107B Keele North branch. Route is renamed from 117 Alness to reflect this service change.
- May 9, 2021 - Route 117 is discontinued, with similar routing transferred to a redesigned route 107.
