Route Details

This route connects the Davisville and Moore Park neighbourhoods to Downtown via Mount Pleasant Road and Jarvis Street. It provides service on Mount Pleasant Road south of Lawrence Avenue East and on Jarvis Street north of King Street East. There is one southern terminal, which is the intersection of King and Charlotte Streets. Northern terminals include Lawrence Avenue East for 141A and Eglinton Avenue East for 141B.
This route only operates during rush hours on weekdays. During the morning rush hour, the first 3 southbound trips operate on branch 141A from Lawrence Avenue East and the last southbound trip operates on branch 141B from Eglinton Avenue East. During the afternoon rush hour, both northbound trips operate on branch 141 to Lawrence Avenue East.
As this is a Downtown Express route, an additional cash fare or a Presto Downtown Express Pass is required on this route.

History
- February 14, 1999 - Route 141 is renamed from Premium Express via Mt. Pleasant to Downtown/Mt. Pleasant Express.
- July 31, 2011 - Route made accessible and bike rack equipped.
- November 25, 2019 - On a trial basis, service is changed to operate along King Street instead of Richmond and Adelaide Streets in order to take advantage of the transit priority corridor. In addition, some morning trips and all afternoon service is extended north to Lawrence Avenue East.
- March 23, 2020 - Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the route is suspended until further notice as service is reallocated to busier routes.
- March 28, 2021 - This route was transferred to Eglinton upon the opening of the brand new McNicoll Division.
