OC Transpo Route 50 was a peak period route that operated from Britannia Park, through Downtown and ended at Hurdman station.
Route Details
Route 50 is one of very few OC Transpo routes that have barley changed in anyway, shape, or form within the route's life. Not accounting for the 2 number changes it got (10 -> 90 -> 50) it pretty much had identical routing to when it was originally created. It was adjusted to run via the Parkway & Transitway instead of just Richmond, Holland, Scott, then downtown once the Baseline - Westboro portion of the Transitway was opened in 1983. In 1987 it was extended to serve Hurdman station rather than just Campus station, and in 1999 had it's terminus changed to Britannia Park, other than that this route didn't change a bit.
