Ottawa-Carleton Regional Transit Commission route 50
Route 50 was a bus route operated by OC Transpo in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Route 50 was a peak period route that ran from Brirannia to downtown during peak periods. Service operated Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM (AM peak) and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (PM peak).
August 29th, 1999
- Route is extended to Lakeside Gardens (Britannia Park) so that all trips can serve Britannia and Cassels. This was to resolve a problem where buses would wait at Bradford and Cassels in the morning; a very narrow roadway that could cause road blockage for the local neighbourhood. This also will result in a shorter trip for the northern portion of the community of Britannia.
September 6th, 2009
- Route is cancelled and replaced by Route 2 on Richmond and Route 16 in Britannia Village with extra trips on both routes during peak periods.
