The routing of route 29

Route 29 was a peak period route that operated from the Manor Park and former CFB Rockliffe area to Downtown. Service operated Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM (AM peak) and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (PM peak).

History

April 19th, 1998

  • Adjusted to operate via Ogilvie, Cyrville, Michael and the Transitway in both directions, instead of via St. Laurent Blvd. between Ogilvie and St. Laurent Station.

September 4th, 2004

  • Some morning trips will be shortened to start at Carson and Montreal.

September 2nd, 2007

  • Route no longer serves Via Venus and will instead continue via Codd’s due to the closure of DND officers and facilities on Via Venus and Cosmo.

September 6th, 2009

  • Route is cancelled due to the closure of CFB Rockcliffe Airbase and will be replaced by revised Route 15 along Matheson, Plumber and Charlton inaddition to extra peak period trips on Routes 127 and 129.
