Air Canada's 777-300ER fleet are Boeing 777-300ERs with delivery in 2007-2009 and a second batch in 2013-2014.

History

The initial order for this series of aircraft was made in November 2005, alongside an order for Boeing 777-200LR, Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9 aircraft. The initial order was for 8 777-300ERs, later changed to 12. This fleet was purchased to replace the Airbus A340-300 and part of the Boeing 767-300ER fleet, for service on higher capacity routes. [1]

Premium economy seats were added to the fleet in 2013.[2]

To standardize the international fleet, this series interior was reconfigured starting in 2015 to a similar style of the Boeing 787 interior, with a higher-density layout.[3]
