Kudos to all bus driver today. The snow make buses run slow and late, but at least we get to our destination!

I got on 22-347 on the 205. The bus did come 6 minutes late at the train station, but when I got off, I saw that he was actually 34 minutes late! He was supposed to do the departure before mine!

And he didn't take a break. ? for this awesome driver!

31-150 was at Fairview signed as the 419.

Took it this morning (7:25 departure from Fairview; does one westbound trip only).

Interesting about 28-084 since 28-079 to 095 were transferred from St-Laurent to Anjou around last summer.

31-076 was a St-Laurent bus but then became a Frontenac bus so it could have been returned or is just a loan.

26-027 is a Frontenac bus.

St-Denis sent most of their 22s to St-Laurent.

And just a heads up the  23-2XX now have a retirement watch thread (combined with the 22-XXX) so 23-2XX sightings should go there now.

24-260 was T-boned by an Exo L'Assomption on Sherbrooke on Tuesday.

37-092 crashed into a pallet company next to the Stinson garage.

From the photos I saw, it is likely that 24-260 will not return, 37-092 will need a new front end, frame is bent around the door, and the first passenger window is completely missing.

I found a photo of 37-092's accident, courtesy of Facebook and MTLblog (believe it or not, this seems to be original content from them):

Lasalle has been short on buses all week. Many of the rush hour 90 trippers were cancelled. Just for fun, I've collected a list of the cancellations from today:

Eastbound (from Elmhurst)

  • 7:02
  • 7:28 (my regular bus - cancelled Wednesday, Thursday and today)
  • 7:40 (cancelled Tuesday, Thursday and today)
  • 7:44 (cancelled every day this week)
  • 17:14

Westbound (from Atwater)

  • 15:27
  • 15:38
  • 15:44 (cancelled every day except Wednesday)
  • 16:12 (cancelled every day except Wednesday)
  • 16:28 (cancelled every day except Wednesday)
  • 17:02 (cancelled every day except Wednesday)
  • 17:21
  • 17:33 (cancelled every day except Wednesday)
  • 18:01

@Matt Demers It seems like it's 24-218-228 that are at Stinson now. I've taken 220, 221 and 225 in the past couple of weeks.

Same with St-Laurent and the 419. Here's a similar list of cancellations:

Westbound (from Meaney)

  • 6:20 (419-07; Friday)
  • 6:51 (419-01; Thursday)
  • 7:30 (419-07; Monday, Friday)
  • 7:42 (419-05; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
  • 7:51 (419-08; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
  • 7:55 (419-11; Tuesday)
  • 8:11 (419-09; Friday)
  • 8:39 (419-06; Monday)
  • 8:55 (419-02; Wednesday)
  • 9:24 (419-06; Tuesday)
  • 9:42 (419-09; Friday)
  • 10:32 (419-09; Friday)

Eastbound (from JAC)

  • 6:45 (419-07; Friday)
  • 8:45 (419-09; Friday)
  • 14:07 (419-16; Friday)
  • 14:34 (419-13; Friday)
  • 14:52 (419-11; Friday)
  • 15:03 (419-16; Friday)
  • 15:54 (419-16; Friday)
  • 16:03 (213I-14; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday)
  • 16:34 (419-18; Tuesday, Wednesday)

Some of these cancellations were probably due to weather. But what I have also noticed is that layover times for 419 runs are not balanced at all this board period. 419-02 only gets a 2 minute layover when it does the 9:15 EB from JAC, arrives at Fairview at 9:39, and has to do the 9:41 WB departure. In contrast, 419-09 gets a 22 minute layover when it does the 8:45 EB from JAC, arrives at Fairview at 9:11, and then does the 9:33 WB departure.

Another thing I don't get is why the STM is so against interlining the 419 with other routes. One of the strangest runs, 419-10, does the 9:50 WB departure from Fairview as its first trip since leaving the garage. They could probably have interlined a bus finishing a rush hour run at Fairview to that departure (such as 202-01, which arrives at Fairview as the 202 at 9:44 then goes back to the garage).

There are also many runs that start halfway into morning rush or end halfway into afternoon rush. For example, 419-09 only begins on the 7:59 WB departure from Fairview and 419-16 arrives at Fairview at 16:21 and returns to the garage. Though, to be fair, I can't tell if they do school runs before or after.

@Matt Demers It seems like it's 24-218-228 that are at Stinson now. I've taken 220, 221 and 225 in the past couple of weeks.

The photos are the same, and unless MTLblog took the photos at the same angle and time of day, I doubt it is original content.

Today:

- St-Laurent's(?) 38-017 was on the 105 this morning. This one doesn't have a Frontenac rear bumper and it has an english ad which are atypical of Frontenac buses.

- 39-001 was on the 104 doing a Stinson extra this morning (104-03). I saw it near Vendôme at around 8:35

- I took Frontenac's 26-068 on the 495 this morning.

- Frontenac's 26-029 was at Angrignon Terminus around 17:45.
