I doubt it, although 9411 still looks ok. But 9413 has a messed up interior, like this: 20170825_115422.thumb.jpg.ef6cb913c7b5959caf77f9cce224d6b9.jpg

It’s Pretty Odd That TTC Is scrapping The Viis First When There Are Older Buses To Be Scrapped,The destination Signs Still Haven’t Been Removed And There Engine Is Still On. I Guess The TTC Is Waiting For A Company To Buy Them.

Why would they remove those?

nothing else in the fleet uses them.

Does anyone know the fate of the following units? They have been on the mia list for a while and I think that most of these units have been retired and/or scrapped already.

What is your source on those units being scrapped - you didn't see them in a yard? 7401 was still in service on Sunday night, I think it's highly improbable that the TTC would have been able to decommission a bus, have it removed from the property, and scrapped at a scrapyard in under a week.

i have been going by the eglington division two days a week. I went there today and those units are retired and gone for scrap for sometime now during October and November. I went back to eglington division today and 7481 7503 are now retired 7502 might be retired now as its parked where the buses usually get striped down before going to the scrap yard.

Most of these are retired. 7635 was retired months ago as I saw it in the dead row of Birchmount. I can recall 7603 being there, being inspected as well. And an update on 7704, it is still beside 7593 when I saw it yesterday. 7588 is now mia. Also, there was another OG ready to be towed at of Birchmount and to scrap. I did not see the number.

They retired 7477 in less than 3 days....at this point, even less than a week I'd call it retired.

I wasn't questioning whether it was retired - I was questioning how it was reported as "scrapped" by @FabianColeyLOVESBUSES.

7588 is now retired. It is sitting beside a bunch of dead OGs at Birchmount.

Looks like by the time holiday reductions start by December 17, could this be the end of New Eglinton's batch of Orion VIIs by then? Birchmount may be next by the time new year's start. but could they be possibly able to move the remaining #8100-#8219 series to Birchmount to replace the remaining #77/#78xx buses?

There's only about 30 buses from the 81xx series left at Wilson. While I do think it's likely the remaining units will shift down to Birchmount, it won't be enough to retire all of the VIIs at Birchmount.

Not true. The unit was in service today.
