My friend who works at Mississauga Transit told me that #9112 has been sent to scrap.

Why are the 92/93 listed for retirement? I was told thes are not going anywhere untill next year at least.

In the InsideTransit booklets for MT staff (It's like the TTC's Coupler magazine), it stated that all of the 91-93s (I can only imagine 8923 aswell) are going to be retired and replaced by 69 D40LFRs which are going to start arriving in June and it says all 69 are scheduled to be here by October.

I might as ewll add my contrabution:

From Friday afternoon between 3-3:30pm at Square One. For the most part, I wasn't able to determine their routes due to the lighting conditions at the time. In fact, don't rely on me to determine which routes they're on. B) In any event:

9207, 9133, 9120, 9110, 9131, 9139, 9209, 9208, 9121, 9309, 9305, 9126.

South Common Mall at around 4pm:

9121, 9128.

 What a great thread. But also very sad.

Does anyone keep track or take note of where these things end up after retirement? Or does everyone stop watching the moment MT retires? I'm wondering if other operators are buying them or if all are being scrapped.

It doesn't have to be this way, folks. :(

Feel free to post photos of these buses in their final days. Being out in WPG I am not in Miss to witness and photograph.

8923 at Square One half an hour ago. It was a sea of the oldest buses: 8923, 9101, 9102, 9104 and 9108 were all next to each other. To top it off, 9752 was there on the 76.

9752's farebox was jammed, but an employee fixed it mid-route. I got a free ride nonetheless!
