Thanks soo8513 for that shot of 9122. Very nice to see this endangered species and still hard to believe these are threatened. 1991 just doesn't seem that old to me when you've got some systems still running fishbowls from the 70s!

VERY cool, thanks! Love the one of 9307 especially. I've saved a copy on my computer. A 9300 on Cantay? Yeah that's unusual for sure. The influx of that low floor crap has really shifted around the traditional assignments of these Vs. Love the photos and info, keep 'em coming!

In the summer of 2005 Orion V's were very commonplace, especially on routes in the north-west part of the city.

9118 was my last missing 9101-class to ride, finally riding it on 10 Bristol on June 9th of this year. Here is a good "plume of smoke" from a pair of Orion V's on August 12, 2005

What a great action shot! And I agree that these were quite common in 2005. Even in 2006 you could still find them in the summer before the 06s had arrived. Thanks for good photos that hearken back to better times.

9303 is on the 38 right now, run 2.

EDIT: I caught it turning from Britannia onto Silken Laumann, I was hoping it would be southbound, the sun angle was perfect, as seen in 0610's picture.

I think I'll go out and get it southbound at 12:31. :D

correction: MT 9303 is on 38A Creditview

Whatever.

re: request for older Orion shots - where do you want them?

Orion Is would go well here, if you please.

9302 was used as a relief vehicle this afternoon.

Sunday's MT 9303 was photographed at 12:12 PM at Argentia and 10th Line on "southbound" trip.

Monday today - rode 9312 on 10 Bristol (run 03) - in good condition

Sorry about my 38 vs 38A comment yesterday -- either last Sunday or Sunday before I spotted a bus signed "38 N Creditview to Meadowvale" travelling southbound on Winston Churchill crossing the 401. Realized afterwards that what should have been a 38A was operating as a 38 - strange

Yesterday sun prevented me from seeing if driver had signed as 38 or 38A .... but did follow 38A routing

So you got him right after me, he waved at me, did he acknowledge you?

A lot of drivers just use *380 and *381 on Sunday, however *384 and *385 are the correct codes.

9310 was on 66 this morning and 9201 was AVing 44.
