Today....8871 on schedule 4004, 8888 on schedule 4008.....

Since this is going to be regular operation for the summer, I won't bother posting any more, unless something "exotic" is used....

Are those 88xx Coaches are Accessible? So I guess then the Canadian Hound can now do runs in the US... legally? Guess the Toronto - NYC route may sport those 88xx Coaches too?

8870-8888 (with 8874 and 8884 never existing) are original to Greyhound USA, and are equipped with wheelchair lifts.

I did see 1331 here this past week, sporting a "wrap" ad. for some radio station "104.7"....I hear it was on a charter and had broken down....not sure of its status....

Those 8800's were used originally on the "Lucky Streak" Atlantic City casino runs...

Why does BC only get MCI 102-DL3?

My Educated guess is. They are specially plated for Bc operations.

Are Greyhound Canada 1293-1295 still around ? I have not seen them in years !!

With the influx of refurbished ex-US 102-DL3 coaches and the reduction in service, Greyhound Canada has retired most of their older and oddball equipment. I believe the three oddball XL-IIs (1293-1295) are gone, as well as all but 2 of the H3-45 coaches.

today saw 1292 in Grande Prairie a recently plated bus from the East Now sporting Bc and Yukon Plates. Apparently their were quite a few coaches from the East fleet moved west and Bc plated. Also looks like some more got BC Plated also.

I wouldn't be surprised to see most if not all of the rest of the 4505's moved West and plated for BC. As the 4505's are best used on longer haul routes.
