The number of people getting on and off at every station IS the passenger volume. There's even a percentage value compared to the total corridor, so that it's easy for someone to say "this station is busy" and "this one is not". They don't seem to have a problem with you asking for the information. Mind you it's been a while since I've had to ask, so I don't know if they've changed their information policy since then.
