General Transit Sightings

2 Inveros came on the 1 for PM rush-hour service. 09-03 and 23-03.

The only HF to be on a LF trip that I had seen today was Orion V 7063-90 on the 11/15.

As far as the sightings, which would be more significant seeing as the 07's are to be close to seeing service, 37-07 anyway:

1: D40LF 7035-06, Invero 7020-03, Orion V's 7067 and 68-91 both as rush-hour extras

2/3: Orion V 7078-94 and Invero 7019-03 as a rush-hour extra

3/2: Orion V 7079-94 and Classic 7006-86 with that new side-sign

6: Classic 7004-85

10: D40LF's 7033 and 34-06, Invero 7024-03 with Orion V 7069-91 and Classic 7013-83, which to me has had some work done with its engine as its idoling sounds much different. Plus I thought this was going to be a casualty at the hand of 2007 D40LF's. Maybe not for now anyways.

11/15: Orion V's 7077-94 and 7063-90 (LF)

15/11: Orion V 7062-90

12: Classics 7015-83 and 7008-84

13: Classic 7012-83

61 GO: Orion V 7065-91

62 GO: Classics 7002-85 and 7055-87

Classic 7003-85 seen on the Brant Hills School Special which probably later became a rush hour extra for the 3/2.

Today at 2:15 I saw what seemed to be a Orion VII Next Generation on Dundas at Walkers Line in Burlington. It was mostly red with some black accents and it had LED illuminator front and side destination signs but I was unable to make out what they were displaying. It was also too far away for me to make out a fleet number or any other distinguishing markings. Does anybody know anything about this?

That was probably #1291A, which is Orion's Engineering Test Bus. It was also the very first Orion VII NG Prototype to be built. They were probably just running some road tests.

Cool. Do you know if there are any pictures of this bus so that I can compare and confirm that it was the one that I saw?

I also want to add that when approaching Burlington GO Station at 4:15pm today, a four-wheeled highway coach, covered up by an ad on both sides definitely looked and sounded like one of GO's oldest buses. I wasn't fast enough to see if there was a GO logo on the front of it. If it did had a destination sign, it may have said "out of service" or something. Just a heads-up.

Here are two of my shots. I caught it leaving the plant one day. It has a moc-up "hybrid tank" on the roof now though.

Yeah that's definitely it. And the addition of the tanks would make sense too because I noticed something on the roof but just didn't know what it was. It looked streamlined a little bit like the tanks on the roof of the C40LFRs. Thanks for the pics.

HSR yesterday:

- HSR Classic 8607 was on 'Route 51 University'

- HSR Classic 8712 was at the Limeridge Terminal. Didn't see the route sign but it was at the 'Route 26 Upper Wellington' stop. About 20 minutes later I swear I saw 8712 AGAIN on 'Route 5C West Hamilton' downtown. Got a photo of it the first time. Didn't have time the second.

- HSR Classic 8713 was on 'Route 51 University'

- HSR Classic 8714 was on 'Route 41 Mohawk'

- HSR Classic 8808 was on 'Route 41 Mohawk'

- HSR OvionVI 9923 was on 'Route 2 Barton'

- HSR D40LF 0502 was on 'Route 2 Barton'

Burlington Transit

- BT 8008-84 was on 'Route 1 Plains/Fairview

Burlington 7011-83 at Tomakjian in Vaughan i got a Photo from a friend but he never told me the date

I'll have an attachment of 11 at the bottom of this post.

Today, new 2007 D40LF 7038-07 was in revenue service on the 10 doing a rush-hour trip. It was accompanied on the route by 7034 and 7035-06, (all-day), Classic 7002-85 and Orion V 7077-94 as rush-hour add ons. That D40LF was very smooth. It sounded a tad bit different, even though the rear axle noise was to be expected. I can't explain it but it was a bit different.

Invero 7019 and 21-03 on the 1 with an 83 Classic as a rush-hour add on.

11/15: 05-85

15/11: Orion V 7066-91 and Invero 7018-03

Orion V 7065-91 (2/3) and Classic 7004-85 was a rush-hour add on for the 3/2.

12: 15-83 and 80-94.

13: 01-84

Seems as if that there is a system problem with posting even just thumbnails of pics.

Another shot of HSR 0605 with the interesting rear dest. sign. I actually was kind of startled when I saw 0605 because it was traveling North on James.

If you ask me, it looked like there were people on the bus when you took this picture, maybe they were transporting people from the parade.. because I did see t at the parade and Im pretty sure there were people on it.

A 98XX C40LF broke down in downtown Hamilton this afternoon, I went to Hamilton transit fanning I rode every type of bus except the de41LF. Did anyone see any out today?

I saw 0602 as 1A King, it was going east toward Eastgate Square on Main street at the corner of Hughson Street.

That means it had a primer added on. Painted soon? Will be just like 0202 that had a front end damage.

You'd Have to see it for yourself, but it seriously looks like it was side swiped but you may be right.

It's alive! 7047-82 was on 62 GO duty this evening. You can all take a breath now.

Meanwhile, two 07's were doing rush-hour duties for both the 1 and the 2/3.

Classic 14-83 came back today, doing the 62 as well.

LF trips on the 11/15 were taking by Classic 7015-83.

Lastly, 7012-83 was doing the 12 AGAIN...for the last 5 times of being on the 12, I get that bus. :P Not that I'm pissed off about it.
