I haven't seen any for at least 2 years now. I would assume they're gone.

Anybody seen/rode 0708 yet? I'm looking out for it every day...

I saw 0708 yesterday, didnt get a chance to ride it but it was on 27 Upper James and i got really close to the bus and the LED lights look kinda like little dots of light that are like 2-3 centimeters apart, and i also saw it at night and the lights make the bus look quite dark inside...

I think all of them are now retired, no?

Retired 2 years now due to high maintenance, all are sitting at the garage.

I did rode once on route 8, for a short distance. It sucks!

Then stay in the GTA forum.

Exactly! I hate when people when they are winey and complaining!

A big update:

First off, there was a huge accident at Walkers Line (actually east of there) on New Street @ Lawn Moor (yes, it's a name of a residental street, believe ir or not) :) which had forced all of the Route 10 buses, both east and west to detour away from New Street. I was on Classic 7015-83 doing a rush-hour assignment on the 10-West towards downtown close to 4pm this afternoon. I wasn't sure where it detoured but it was somewhere on Lawn Moor where teh Route 4 operates. The 10 Wests even went from Lawn Moor and had to go through a plaza parking lot as the intersection of Lawn Moor at New Street was closed. How would you like to see a line of traffic through a parking lot especially when you're pulling out to see a bus? In fact, we even had to go through a Tim's drive through for heaven's sakes :P . If I had known ahead of time, I would've offered the driver of that trip a coffee :P .

Besides the accident, there may have been problems with Orion V65-91, which was doing the 12. Not sure of the problem at hand, just that I had overheard the radio talking about 65-91 doing the 12. Ironically, D40LF 7039-07 (first day of service)? was also having problems, with its engine on the outside sounding like a Blue Bird. The driver who was doing that run called to the maintanence dispatch about the problem.

Anywho, the other buses doing the 10 were as follows:

D40LF 7035-06, 7025-03, a V doing a LF trip, 7062-90, with rush-hour extras Classic 7005-85, 7015-83 adn Orion V 7063-90.

1: D40LF's 7041-07, 7038-07, 7034-06, Invero 7017-03 with rush-hour extras as Invero 7020-03, Classics 7004-85, 7016-83.

2/3: Invero 7019-03, with rush hour extras D40LF 7036-07 and Classic 7013-83.

3/2: D40LF 7033-06 with rush hour extras Classic 7010-83 and Orion V 7068-91.

6: Invero 7024-03

11/15: D40LF 7037-07

15/11: Orion V 7080-94 and a Blue Bird

13: Classic 7014-83

8: Invero 7009-03 (rush-hour add-on)

7: Classic 7054-87

It is 0412. It was on 'Route 2 Barton' today. It's actually a nice looking ad, unlike that dentist one with the ugly shots of yellow teeth on the side. :)

hsr_0412_d40lf_02.jpg

Today in the HSR:

9604 - 'Route 26 Upper Wellington'

9805 - 'Route 1 King'

9915 - 'Route 6 Aberdeen'

9920 - 'Route 43 Stone Church'

9923 - 'Route 3 Cannon'

0203 - 'Route 26 Upper Wellington'

0210 - 'Route 1 King'

0301 - 'Route 41 Mohawk'

0314 - 'Route 25 Upper Wentworth'

0315 - 'Route 41 Mohawk'

0403 - 'Route 25 Upper Wentworth'

0412 - 'Route 2 Barton'

0721 - 'Route 5C West Hamilton'

Any idea why it's been removed?

Im not to sure why it has been removed, but it could be in for repair or something like that...

And 0412 looks very attractive with that ad, good job S-S-M!! And i finally spotted 9907 and it has been refurbished and now has a new ad rack at the back of the bus.

9916 has a new full rear ad for Apple Auto Glass.

according to a few drivers that I've spoken with, the Bike Rack were sopposed to be removed for the winter..

IF Kevin_N reads this, can you confirm or deny this info?

The bike racks were supposed to be removed at the end of November, but I have yet to see one that has been removed. They may have changed their mind on it because people are still using them. I saw a bike on an Upper Gage bus at about 5:00 PM last night.

As for the CNG Overland ELF's, they are no longer on the property. All were removed from the property back in April and May of this year.

I noticed that 0313 doesn't have a bike rack either today. At the same time I saw a bike rack in use yesterday.

Today in the HSR:

9608 (rode), 9708, 9914, 0311, 0313, 0412 (rode), 0602 and 0704 - All 'Route 2 Barton'

I also saw 0704 with the route display 'Happy Holidays from HSR and Public Works' this morning. :P

Brian and I were on 0704 on the Barton heading Eastbound at around 1:15pm. We originally wanted to get a DE41LF, but get the first bus ththat arrived. Funny enough while waiting for the 55A at the Bell Manor Loop, 0602 came in. Still have yet to ride of them.

From Burlington:

D40LF 37-07 along with Inveros 7025 and 7023-03. Classic 7012-83, Orion V 7065-91 were all rush-hour extras for the 1.

*A note regarding 23-03. At 10am this morning, when I thought that it would leave as the 1-East, it was having difficulties departing or at least, getting out of neutral, revving up the engine multiple times. I wasn' tsure whether it did leave or not. I just placed it into my 'disabled list'. But I think I saw it on the 1 later this afternoon so perhaps it was able to overcome those problems.

Lastly, D40LF 7034-06 was OOS at Burlington GO, located in the GO bus enter lane adjacent to the main platform island.

The 10 had Inveros 7017-03 and 7020-03 with Orion V 7067-91 as a rush-hour extra.

The 11/15 today had Classic 7015-83 and Orion V 7080-94 as a lowfloor wannbe. :P

15/11 meanwhile had Blue Bird 7028-06 was on its regular LF trips.

Classic 7001-84 and Blue Bird 7032-06 rounded up the GO special assignments where as Classic 7010-83 was doing the 13.

I also saw 0704 with the route display 'Happy Holidays from HSR and Public Works' this morning. :)

I saw that also.

For those fleet interior # on the Orion VI, the factory large # has been removed, replaced to the smaller version with the soft claar plastic cover much like NFI. Very disappointed!

Lawn Moor is actually a funny name but the street you're refering to is called Longmoore. The accident that you refered to involved a man getting hit by two different cars as he was crossing New Street at that intersection. There's a big article in the Friday Post about it.
