Express691
Im having a high debate of starting a new thread relating to demonstrators. They are rolling out a demonstrator bus that features a driver barrier. http://buzzer.translink.ca/2015/01/spot-the-bus-barrier-the-next-step-in-the-pilot-begins/ Appears to be B9606, according to IG. Shoutout to the young man who inquired.

mashedpotato13
WCE 1 is really behind schedule by over 35 minutes because of a freight train. I think my alerts said it was ultimately behind by 50 minutes by the time it reached Pitt Meadows; train 2 was behind by 18, and train 3 was behind by 5. Trains 4 and 5 were not affected. Said it was caused by "switch/freight delay" and a slow order near Port Moody.

Blue Bus Fan
Well the CP rail track maintenance is causing issues. Express691
Same thing with our track maintenance on skytrain: It probably takes all night all day all week. Rail traffic is rather constant because there is no passenger demand. Why couldn't CP do the track maintenance on weekends?
BC Ferries
Like most unionized jobs the company CP contracts to do maintenance charges more on weekends due to overtime to get the job done. From talking to railway dispatchers CP has made little to no effort since they do not operate WCE service anymore to keep the trains on time. All this is just freight scheduling. Grain freight has priority now due to government pressure from last year.

Express691
Translink instagram suggests that there existed a MK1 Demo in the 90's. It was called the "Test Vehicle 06" and had 6 doors. Does anyone have any input on this?

Dane
It didn't become the Mk II. I know after sitting at the yard for like a decade WCRA in Squamish picked it up, not sure if they kept it though?
