T3G
As per the notes of John Bromley: -On 860114 removal of all Scharfenberg couplers was approved for reasons of redundancy, maintenance and to save weight (although all other multiple-unit equipment remains on board). The removal commenced in the spring of 1986 and was completed on an unknown date in 1988. -4068 II, on 820921, was equipped with a prototype installation of front skirting, which was originally nicknamed a Shiner Shroud (and later a Shiner Skirt) after the TTC Commissioner who demanded that they be installed. The installation was in response to a lack of HB Lifeguard safety equipment on CLRVs, following personal injuries and damage caused as a result of the prominence of the Scharfenberg couplers. A formal period of testing of 4068 II was conducted from 831011 to 831013, inclusive. Twenty-five other CLRVs were equipped with similar front skirting between 840531 and 840712 for a lengthy trial period. Equipping of the remainder of the CLRV fleet commenced in October, 1985. 5242
Just curious, When were 4205, 4212, 4213, 4216, 4220, 4222, 4223, 4224, 4238, & 4241 last in service?
Tom1122
CLRV 4068 has left HCRR for Seashore. I'm not sure about 4133 or the two being held for the American Mining Museum.

It would be 2018 as the ALRV's never saw service during the winter months of 2019 and were retired September 02 2019. 4204 and 4207 doing round fan trips from Russell to Bathurst that day. Both cars had a support vehicle behind then incase they broke down and would push they to the yard.

Tom1122
For those who weren't on the TTS charter it appears CLRV 4170 will the next CLRV to leave HCRR for their forever home with 4024 being the third to head out. 4170 and 4024 are the cars heading for the American Mining Museum.

Tom1122
From what I've heard, I can't confirm it 100% but Seashore won't be taking 4133. HCRR will send them a spare set of trucks and parts for their CLRV (4068). The fate of 4133 is undetermined at this time. Most likely it will be parted out and scrapped.
Tom1122
I have heard that 4170 arrived at its new home from the American Mining Museum on Facebook. Truck assembly's would be difficult I would imagine unless they share common parts with other types still in service today.

T3G
Is there anyone who was present on the last day of CLRVs who remembers what time the last trip with 4001 arrived at Russell? I have the timestamps on my own photos of these but I can't remember if I remembered to change the time on my camera - I have 4001 going out of service at 3:47 pm, but I don't know if that's accurate. T3G
Interesting find on Google Streetview... the capture from September 2014 shows 4041 parked in the deadline without its Shiner Skirts. T3G
The third vehicle in the collision of 4211 and 4234 was not a CLRV, it was 4213. Unlike the former two it was only lightly damaged and quickly reentered service.
bus_7246
I think 4213 was coincidentally running behind 4234 when the rollback of 4211 occurred. If it were involved, 4213 would have blocked the intersection of Queen & River 4213 went on to become the Nike car sometime afterwards In a poor twist of fate, 4212 went similarly to its sister, 4211

T3G
30 minutes ago, 5242 said: 4043 (needs correction) - Last seen Aug. 27, 2018 on route 301, the wiki says Feb. 19, 2018 As indicated on the wiki, the car was removed for scrapping on May 23, 2018, so this would be impossible. They were doing tests of the VISION system on a couple of days in August 2018 using old vehicle fleet numbers, so there is various ghost data that is inaccurate. 4043 was one of them. The date for 4094 is also incorrect. It was signed into the 306 on November 21, but its recorded trip path is only this: A few of the cars you noted as having last run on December 29 were actually on December 28. As for the rest, I have them, and as time allows I'm going through and filling in the wiki with delivery/in service/where missing and available, last run dates.
