Indian Trails is based in Owosso, Michigan and is Michigan's premier motor coach company. They also operate the Michigan Flyer airport shuttle from East Lansing, Brighton, and Ann Arbor (in cooperation with Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority) to Detroit Metropolitan Airport, the Detroit Air Xpress airport shuttle from downtown Detroit to Detroit Metropolitan Airport (alongside RTA) and the D2A2 express bus from downtown Detroit to downtown Ann Arbor (also alongside RTA).

History

Indian Trails was founded in 1910 in Owosso as the Phillips-Taylor Livery Service. It was incorporated around 1935, around the same time company founder Cora Taylor began researching the rich Native American heritage of the area and began christening each new coach with the name of a chief from the Owosso, Potawatomie or Chippewa nations, a tradition that continued for almost 90 years thereafter.[1]
