R. McConnell
Here's a photo of one of the MTA's new LFS Artics. At least 53 buses have been delivered out of a total of 90. 1200-1230 are currently assigned to the Bx12 Select Bus Service, and 1231 and up will be assigned to the M15. 2044
Nova has started building buses meeting the EPA 2010 emissions standard. The first buses produced for a customer meeting the new standards appears to be RTC's 2010 LFS and LFS Artic order. All subsequent buses produced will meet the 2010 standard. The last buses meeting the EPA 2007 standard are thought to be for Groupe Orléans and La Québécoise.
M.Wright
I saw 2 LFS Aritcs parked in New Brunswick yesterday at a gas station, I was on the highway so I didn't get a good look but they had plastic covers all around them. Anyone out there ordering some new LFS Artics? The gas station was located in east new brunswick, so it could be for Nova Scotia, which the only place I know that has some on order is Metro Transit. EDIT: Turrns out Halifax is getting them delivered, so they were most likely one of those.

Andru
I have a question. Is there any 3rd Gen LFSes that has suburban layout? Yes, Transdev (CIT Vallee-du-Richelieu) and La Quebecoise (CIT Le Richelain) just got 2 and 1 respectively.

2044
No idea - no other pictures, and the caption just says "The latest from Nova Bus". Ok. If it is a HEV, I'm guessing it's this one (built March 2010):
Andru
Do you know what they are numbered and when they were approximately delivered? CITVR 389-30-1 confirmed, the other is likely 388-30-1. Note the final digit, these buses appear to be 2011 models, however only the VIN will tell for sure. No idea about the La Quebecoise fleet number. They were likely built in May 2010 (I don't have the official date), and the CITVR units were in service by late June, so delivery was sometime in between. Is it a HEV? Yes, the battery bump can be barely seen in another photo in the same gallery (APTA 2010): A few more pictures of the same: http://www.subchat.com/buschat/read.asp?Id=195767 http://www.panoramio.com/photo/36759719 http://www.panoramio.com/photo/36759735 http://www.flickr.com/photos/roguemd/47131...pool-novabuslfs http://www.flickr.com/photos/roguemd/47131...pool-novabuslfs

thehartfordboy
Does anyone knows the schedule for buses being built? I wanna know because I am anxious for the LFSA to make it to Connecticut, then again it would be ironic for me to say that because I'm a NovaBus fan and these buses are replacing Classics. Dr. Casca
Yes, Transdev (CIT Vallee-du-Richelieu) and La Quebecoise (CIT Le Richelain) just got 2 and 1 respectively. I have a pic of the CIT Le Richelain unit, I was over by the garage two weeks ago...at the time it didn't have any graphics on it, it was just all-white... As far as I know Plattsburgh is currently working on the Calgary order, so it may be until August before they tackle the CT artics. Delivery shouldn't happen before September.
