Transit Guy Posted January 5 Report Share Posted January 5 There was nothing wrong with the “doors will open on the left/right” announcement, the new announcement sounds like she’s rushing out the door information. As for the Canada Line Bridgeport interchange announcement for Waterfront-bound trains, I believe that was an oversight on TransLink’s part as they have to pay ProTrans for every announcement they add to the Canada Line, hence why the station alert announcements are now the text-to-speech voice that can’t pronounce most of the station names correctly. They should also add an announcement for connections to Horseshoe Bay at City Centre like the Expo Line. TransLink is more or less broke right now and probably can’t even afford to add any announcements to the Canada Line, even if they just cut & paste the southbound announcements. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
