who actually own these buses now? and which transit systems are they supposed to be sent to?

I am wondering the double decker fleet of Grayline Victoria is gone or not(all those Daimler Fleetlines, Leyland Atlanteans etccc). I heard that Grayline West is dissolved and anyone know if their fleet of buses have been sold anywhere or not thx@@

The tour guide also mentions if Daimler is not closing Orion, a prototype would be off the line by December this year. He said the outlook of it is more or less like the Mercedes Benz Citaro with modification that makes it more "North America standard". The team of about 20 staffs who is working on this project were dismissed right after Daimler annouce their closure which is absolutely sad.

FINALLY there is a "SCHEME" on this bus.............have to go back for this when I return to Montreal next time

they should curve the deep blue stripe at the front to match with the front grill design.............well again it's a great scheme but just not being applied "in the best way"

it seems that they didn't modify its great scheme on the XD40, while the scheme looks extremely perfect with D40LF due to its flat front grill, it doesn't look as great on the Xcelsior which has more curve at the front. Anyway can't wait to see the actual bus!

WHICH European cities you are talking about with bus life span of 7 years? Please be more specific, Ikarus of Hungary(still Europe!!!!) probably yes................ As far as I know, the 7 years life span wouldn't include any bus made in Britain(Optare/Alexander Dennis etc......), Mercedes/Man(Neoplan) of Germany, Volvo of Sweden etc........

totally agree..........the last Routemaster was withdrawl from "passenger" service in 2005 and there are still a large amount of them being used as sightseeing/tour bus around the world today............ can an Orion VI "run" after 50 years? don't make me ROFLMFAO.....
