Any ideas on if 301-325 are going on Hele-on, this is at the Kalihi Yard

Probably not unless it’s for a very short time. According to Civil Beat, Hawaii County recently received a “federal grant to purchase 55 new buses by 2024, enabling it to replace its existing fleet of 33. A mix of battery electric, hydrogen and diesel-electric hybrid technology will power the new buses, reducing emissions and the island’s carbon footprint.”

Update for Bus 132 and 134, were gonna be planned for refurbishment and run on the road on a private transit, but later was scrapped since they aren’t needed anymore and there was no use for them and so where they are? well, scrapped, for good, and since 132 ran on the roads around August 2021, they were scrapped later on the same month for no use of it.

Well are you guys buying our 100s and 800s? Better call the office in advanced like now in Hawaii time, so that way we can have our buses in the mainland for the very first time! besides scrapped or shipped around Hawaii or somewhere else!

And to add the 800s are the last phantoms of Honolulu so better save these!

Saw this news:

More 60-foot Novas for Honolulu!  Over the next three years, DTS will purchase, based on funds availability, articulated buses from Nova Bus.  This comes twelve years after our first 24 Nova LFS buses arrived back in 2010.

Any idea if XDE60 bus 181 has been in service lately? I haven’t seen that bus on GPS for quite some time now.

Unexpectedly, I saw this today, on road test, this bus is not showing up on GPS, and I believe this bus gps is not working at the moment, this bus is not retired, no,

Some busses go inactive in many causes of some problems or accidents that happen, so to your answer, it is still active.
