kevlo86 Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 Here are some photos of #3998 doing a charter of some sort at the Saddledome on Saturday night.
BCT-3122-D800-10240 Posted February 13, 2012 Author Report Posted February 13, 2012 Here are some photos of #3998 doing a charter of some sort at the Saddledome on Saturday night. SWEET! I took a pic of 3998 at the Highfield yard today. Also spotted ex-Translink #3270 with fresh white paint on the rear parked in the yard as well as ex-Translink #3264 still in full Translink livery. So one bus is unaccounted for out of the 6 units that came out here. And from what I recall, these are the only 6 former Translink C40's to survive at this point and the rest were scrapped by Translink. Here's my pic: http://www.flickr.com/photos/vehicle-images/
School Bus 101 Posted May 11, 2012 Report Posted May 11, 2012 Are the Wayne Lifeguards still operating? Because I believe I saw one though i'm not too sure as I only saw the passenger windows that looked similar to these: http://cptdb.ca/wiki/index.php?title=File:Southland_Transportation_468.jpg

Saw it on the road. 468 is retired now though. Found it at the Michener Allen yard last year sometime.
Ernie JN Posted June 14, 2012 Report Posted June 14, 2012 Hi everyone, with all the discussion about First Student's C2s, I thought I'd share some photos of one of Southland's C2s. Enjoy!

Enjoy! Excellent!! I believe those were taken at Marlborough Mall. I saw A Southland C2 parked there earlier today, but didn't have time to stop in for photos.
BCT-3122-D800-10240 Posted June 18, 2012 Author Report Posted June 18, 2012 Southland #4903 is ex-#656: http://www.flickr.com/photos/vehicle-images/7395512954/
School Bus 101 Posted August 11, 2012 Report Posted August 11, 2012 Found 4030 in the City Centre today. It is a 2011 IC CE that appears to have an air conditioning unit on it's roof.

School Bus 101 Posted August 20, 2012 Report Posted August 20, 2012 I have added 3913, which is a Thomas Saf-T-Liner C2 to the WIKI yesterday when I saw it on 17th Avenue this week. Also saw 4918 at Elliston Park. By the way, if anyone wants to get loads of pictures of Southland buses, head down to Marlborough Mall or Elliston Park this Monday,Wednesday, Friday or Sunday. Most buses will be at Marlborough Mall between 5:30pm - 7:30pm, and will be at Elliston Park between 7:30pm and 8:30pm for GlobalFest.
BCT-3122-D800-10240 Posted November 25, 2012 Author Report Posted November 25, 2012 Have spotted Southland International IC CE #2417 a few times over the past week and at least once, I spotted #2416 which appears to be the same as 2417. Not sure where these came from, but I do have photos of an IC CE #2403 from Prince George from last September running for Diversified Transportation, so it does make me wonder if 2416-2417 were moved here recently from PG.

And it looks like I never posted about 5603 in this thread which is the only 5600 I knew of in the Calgary Southland fleet until you mentioned 5604. 5603 is a 72 passenger (12 row) International IC CE. Here's a pic of 5603: http://cptdb.ca/wiki/index.php?title=File:Southland_Transportation_5603-a.jpg

BCT-3122-D800-10240 Posted March 8, 2013 Author Report Posted March 8, 2013 Just wondering, have the other 3 unidentified C40s been identified yet? 4 out of 6 are in use. They are numbers 3995, 3996, 3997, 3998. Translink #'s 3262, 3264 have not been activated yet. 3264 is still in full translink livery, 3262 was spotted partially repainted with 3993 decaled on the rear only. Yesterday, MCI Classic #3925 was working the Rockeyview Employee Parking Lot shuttle. Lately, I only ever see the C40's working this service.
