Last Sunday I went downtown to check out the Spruce Meadows shuttle bus oeprations and found all of the following units in active service; 665, 669, 670, 671, 672, 673, 3029, 3031. #656 was parked to the side and was there more than likely as a spare back up unit to the rest of the fleet.

The other night I dropped by a Southland yard to check on 3924 and 3925. Sure enough they were there and parked complete with the pic plate as well as bike racks. I am not sure what they are planning on using these buses for but I suspect they may replace the Thomas Transliners in their Calgary Auto Mall and other shuttle duties. Images are in the below two links:

#803 seems to be back in Calgary after being spotted operating in Edmonton recently. http://www.cptdb.ca/wiki/index.php?title=I...rtation_803.jpg .

Also, #'s 3736 and 3737 have had under floor luggage bays added to them.

Ex-Victoria 1991 MCI Classic #944 is currently parked at Southland's Highfield yard in the S.E.

And now I have an image of Ex-Victoria #944 taken in Calgary.

As well, #3924 has been comfirmed with the help of board member "D40LF" that it is Ex-Victoria 954 whcih I suspected. Here's a photo of her now wearing the typical Southland yellow stripe scheme. However, this shade of yellow is much lighter compared to other coaches and such in the fleet.

#3925 (Ex-Victoria #942) was out working the Calgary Auto Mall shuttle during the afternoon peak hours. First spotted her on 8th St. S.E. when I was driving to work and from a distance I thought the Classic was actually a route 24 headed inbound from Ogden until she got closer and I realized that was not a Calgary Transit MCI !!

3924 has been running the Rockyview Hospital shuttle the last couple of days. Nice to see it out instead of the school buses that they normally use instead.

Yes, it's been doing that run for the past couple weeks now. I agree, much better than an IC school bus!

Nice! I had wondered if that was where they were going to use that bus. I suppose Ex-Victoria #944 will be the backup unit to 3924 and 3925. I have not found out what it's new fleet number will be as of yet though. Last I saw of that bus, it was outside the body shop at Southland with some paint removed as it is being prepped for repainting. More than likely it will show up looking just like her two sisters.

Ex-Fort McMurray Transit 1990 MCI Classic #'s 1998 and 1999 are now parked at Southland Transportations Highfield yard in S.E. Calgary. These two buses are originally from Salt Lake City (UTA). I am not sure what will happen with them, but I kinda of suspect they will be used for parts, but you never know. There still are a few of those Blue Thomas transit buses hanging around, so maybe they intend on killing the rest of those off with more Classics. I will make regular checks to see what happens with these two buses. Maybe they will be sent to the Spruce Meadows fleet!? It's a thought!

They look like they run so they may as well end up in service

So what is 3926?

Sorry Kevin, but by knowlegde of school buses is non existant, all I could have told you was that it was a school bus, and not a Classic.

International T444E / Corbeil 72 passenger School Bus. So I wonder what number Ex-Victoria 944 will become?

I guess we need to keep an eye out for 3927 or higher, I wonder if it will be renumbered with the ex FMT Classics, surmising that they will be kept for service.
