LSF shuttles, the company that is contracted to operate some MDT routes, has apparently bought at least one (possibly more) 29ft gillig BRT from madison county transit.

It has been painted into the MDT livery, which means it will likely be used on LSF contracted MDT routes.

2010-2012, not sure of the fleet number so i dont know the exact year.

According to cschnur15, he spotted some of the old 30 footer Madison County Transit buses when Miami-Dade Transit bought what it looks to be 3006, 3011, 3012, 3014, 3018, 3025, 3030, 3032, and 3037, someone spotted a unknown 2012 and 3011 at a Miami contractor's yard. They are 8 - 10 years old.

Here's the link to Ex-Madison County Transit 30XX from HOUExplorer on YouTube:

8:32; the bus was still at the Contractor's yard

This particular unit looks to be a 2012 judging by the skid plate under the service door.  It's probably 3025 or a high 3030. Because they bought quite a few from the Manheim Auction in St. Louis which is where MCT took them when there time was up.

Upon further checking of vins on MyCarFax and the Illinois title and vin look up, I found that the contractor bought the following 3003, 3004, 3006, 3007 3010, 3011, 3012, 3014, 3017, 3018 ,3019 , 3020, 3024, 3025, 3028, 3029, 3030, 3031, 3032, 3033, 3035, 3036,and 3037.

3003-3004, 3006-3007, 3010-3012, 3014, 3017 and 3018 are 2010 models.

3019, 3020, and 3024 are 2011 models.

And 3025, 3028-3033, 3035-3037 are 2012 models.

Quite a few were great buses and will be missed, most served our county great for the 9 1/2- 8 years we had them.  Hope they get taken care of.

All of the units are in revenue service now cschnur15 and the tip in windows for all units are contracted by LSF and they are used on L, S and 120 Lines for Miami-dade Transit. The tip in windows and seats are very different from the rest of Miami Dade Transit common buses without the tip in windows. Hopes the fleet numbers will be renumbered to 5 digits for 103XX, 113XX and 123XX series. They are wrapped in Blue and green Light and retained the white scheme.

And America's Transportation/Safeguard has acquired used early/late-2000s MCI D4500s, D4500CLs and D4500CTs from GO Transit (Government of Ontario) in Toronto, Canada and 4 2000 MCI D4500s from Santa Monica's Big Blue Bus from Summer 2020 during the first/second wave of COVID-19 Pandemic for Express routes behalf of Miami-dade Transit. Some of the units have Detroit Diesel Series 60 EGR Engines and the others has Caterpillar C13 Engines. Original fleet numbers are unknown at this time.  Luminator Horizon headsigns are not really common in Miami-dade County compared to TwinVision LeDot filpdot, Amber LED, Chroma and Smart Series headsigns except for the filpdot Luminator Max, and MAX2000 Headsigns from the 1980s to 1990s.

Video credit goes to Transit +PLUS of YouTube. This is 2007-08 unit with the Caterpillar C13 engines.

And the Miami-dade Transit's own MCIs were retrofitted with driver barriers around Summer 2020 when all of the units were out of service.

Did the  MCI 067XX series units will be preserved for the Historical Fleet collection for the bus museum yet including Flxibles, RTS, Ikarus 436.04, NABI 416.11, 40-LFW.02/17 and NABI 30-LFN after the Covid-19 pandemic passes over?
