StormThief24
Hmm, I hear some grinding in that video... Any clue on what that is? Air conditioning, I believe. I think that sound is the engine straining from powering the air conditioning.

Ehlun
The five digit fleet number still needs some getting use to. What's the reason for the switch to the new numbering system with the purchase year? Have the numbers in the thousands been exhausted? I would have very much preferred if they continued to number the artics in the 8000s. 8157 to 8181 instead of 12001 to 12025.
Meraki
Was it a switch based on purchase year? I thought it was just fleet number, but they used everything before 10000. Lame if they're just going to mix all the fleet numbers based on purchase year.
Millennium2002
Perhaps the third digit might indicate the series? =S I'm not sure how things will work if there's more than 100 buses delivered per year from a single manufacturer... I think that's almost an "impossibility" though.

SidneyTransitfan
They can make 999 purchases per year since first two digits are the year? 13001 to 13999? Well... it certainly may help out in the future if they should ever need to purchase second hand buses for temporary use...
Dane
They can only issue every fleet number once with the administrative system CMBC is using. While certainly not out of fleet numbers, they were running low. Hence the change... Or they were just jealous of West Van lol
