Le Groupe Transbus is transportation contractor offering motorcoach, transit, school bus, and medical/adapted transportation services. The company has offices in Saint-Chrysostome and Châteauguay, and has operations across southern Quebec.
Transbus was formed in 1960 as a St. Chrysostom-based school bus operator. The company incorporated as Transbus Cie in 1986 when Claude Tremblay partnered with Jean Lemieux of Transbus. It became Le Groupe Transbus as it diversified in different transportation services during the 1990s. They started their first transit contract in 2005 for the newly formed CIT La Presqu'Île.
