General Motors Duramax

The General Motors Duramax is a diesel engine family for light-and medium duty trucks and vans. It is produced by DMAX, which is a joint venture between GM and Isuzu located in Moraine, Ohio, with the exception of the LWN, which is produced by a joint venture with VM Motori in Rayong, Thailand.

The Duramax engines were introduced in 2001.[1]
