1 Crosstown was a local route operated by Central Fraser Valley Transit System in Abbotsford, BC.
Route Description
Route 1 operated with three different variants from Bourquin Exchange:
- Crosstown via Blueridge: Via Dahlstrom (now known as George Ferguson), Clearbrook, Blueridge, to Townline [1]
- Crosstown via Bluejay: Via South Fraser, Old Yale, to Mt Lehman [2]
- Crosstown via McKee: Via South Fraser, Old Yale, McMillan, McKee, to Sandy Hill [3]
During the school year, the Blueridge and Bluejay variants ran school specials serving Rick Hansen and Eugene Reimer Schools, as well as MEI. The McKee variant ran school specials serving Bateman School.
After 18:30 on weekdays and Saturdays, night route variants were used instead. The night route on the western portion (Blueridge and Bluejay variants) operated a combined routing of the two loops. The night route on the eastern portion was combined with route 4 Saddle.
History
- August 24, 2003: Due to confusion of having three variants, service discontinued and replaced by three separate routes:
