South Okanagan-Similkameen Transit System

South Okanagan-Similkameen Transit System serves the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen, including the communities of Penticton, Summerland, Naramata, Hedley, Kaleden, Okanagan Falls, Gallagher Lake, Coalmont, Oliver, Osoyoos, Keremeos, and Princeton and area. Penticton, Naramata, Summerland, Osoyoos, Okanagan Falls operation are contracted to Penticton Transit Service Ltd. Princeton routes are operated by Princeton & District Community Services.

History

South Okanagan-Similkameen Transit System was created on July 1, 2017 through the merger of five local systems: Penticton Transit System, Princeton & Area Transit System, Okanagan-Similkameen Transit System (Naramata/Okanagan Falls), South Okanagan Transit System (Osoyoos), and Summerland Transit System. The merger of the systems will centralize information from 5 systems into one Rider's Guide and website, and introduce a new harmonized fare structure.
