Route Description

Route 1 operated between Blueridge and McKee via Clearbrook, South Fraser Way, and Old Yale. It serviced Clearbrook Mall, Bourquin Exchange, and Downtown Exchange.

History

  • August 24, 2003: Service introduced as route 1 Blueridge Loop, replacing the Blueridge variant of route 1 Crosstown [1]
    • Service levels remained unchanged from previous Blueridge variant
  • August 29, 2004: Service combined with route 10 McKee and renamed 1 Blueridge - McKee GoLine [2]
  • September 2, 2008: 15 minute peak service introduced on weekdays [3]
  • 2010: Service improvements [4]
    • Weekday service span extended to run from 6:00 to 22:00
    • Saturday service span extended to run from 6:00 to 22:00
    • Sunday service span extended to run from 6:00 to 19:30, frequency increased from 60 minutes to 45 minutes
  • June 2011: Night routing discontinued [5]
  • June 30, 2019: Route discontinued as part of system-wide restructuring [6]
