You saw the most recently repainted classic, while I saw the one in most need of one. - 102: 29-141. 141: 22-225, 24-215. 18: 14-063, 14-088, 14-176. 51: 17-006, 17-010. Unknown: 13-062 (Refferring to above,) 14-052. Most likely extra buses, in case one breaks down. There are usually 2 classics parked there everyday. Maybe the side numbers were of the thin variety as well. You are correct. According to the pictures I've seen in other people's galleries, 15-140 used to look exactly as you described it. However, they decided to repaint it completely and opt for the larger Helvetica numbers rather than the thinner Univers Condensed Bold ones. There are only a few Classics left with the Univers numbers. 14-034 has the smaller front fleet number, while 14-098 has both a small front and rear fleet number. Oh well, it's back now, and it looks better than ever . -- Today's Sightings 14 / 05 / 10 161: 17-012 - Actually ran very well for a 1st-gen. Unusually smooth ride. Must have been rebuilt. 174: 15-067 (Midday Classic run) 470: 15-063 (Also a midday Classic run) 24: 30-051, 29-092 103: 29-077 (x2), 29-124 162: 29-111, 30-035, 29-090, 30-015 - 29-111 has been on the 162 almost every day this week. Some were only partially repainted, like 14-107 for example: It still has the NovaBus logo, and the original side numbers, but has the bigger front numbers. I imagine when it was retired, it was treated the same way as those other retired Classics were treated, with the whole front end ripped apart, and the bumpers ripped off. They probably had to put new front panels and bumpers, and clean (or replace) some of the seats and floor inside because they probably left the roof and/or windows open, so it probably had a lot of water damage inside. But anyhow, all of that is behind us, and we're glad to see this bus back in service. For sure I will have to try and find it soon to get some new photos of it! According to the schedule it should be leaving Terminus Longueuil at 10h40, 12h10, 13h40, 15h10, 16h40 and 18h10.
