Ninja Bus Fan
Damm right it isn't good, hopefully the driver of the SUV is alright. Does anybody know what bus was involved ?
Orion P9217
It was 8057 http://tcomm.bustrainferry.com/mobile/bus?busId=8057
Ninja Bus Fan
Watching the news and saw R8055 and the front end of the bus is severely damaged like S8003 back in February. Most likely this bus will be scrapped since it seems to have significant front end damage and it seems like the frame is damaged as well.
Express691
So the severity is like that of B8049 then...
Citaro
Holy crap, goodbye R8055. I have not heard of any injuries aboard the bus, which is remarkable given the damage, and I definitely sympathize with the driver of that SUV because even if he survives, his life will never be the same. http://globalnews.ca/video/1433752/raw-massey-tunnel-crash-footage-
Blue Bus Fan
Holy crap, goodbye R8055. http://globalnews.ca/video/1433752/raw-massey-tunnel-crash-footage-2 CBMC and TransLink choose to repair the S8003 so maybe they will repair the R8055; most, likely they won't repair it since it is worse than the S8003. translink
You're all forgetting that 8049 was scrapped because it went over and onto a freeway divider. Because its not the front you have to worry about, its the under structure. Since it looks like the driver was able to pull over, then in theory 8055 should be ok. In theory of course. ThomasW97
Earlier reports stated that there were 70 passengers on board 8055, but was actually 35 and its quite remarkable that everyone is okay .

Maybe someone originally said a '70 passenger bus', and things got twisted around as always.
general682002
Wow, that poor bus driver was quite shaken of all this! And with the collision, it made traffic much worst and a mess throughout the day. Glad everyone is alright. As of the bus, seeing the heavy damage including the front axle, hitting the wall very hard due to emergency maneuvers and the age of the bus, it will be most likely scrapped! It will be next to 8054 as some of you guys remember!
