Western Contra Costa Transit Authority or WestCAT is the public transit service in western Contra Costa County, California that serves the cities of Hercules and Pinole. It is operated under contract by MV Transportation.

History

WestCAT was established in August 1977 as a Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement between the County of Contra Costa and the cities of Hercules and Pinole.

    • 802 was bought by Zacher's Auto Salvage in Harbor City, CA.
    • 803 was bought by a private owner and was spotted at a house near Yuba City on 12/19/2016. It was later listed for sale on Craigslist in 2017, but did not sell. It may be getting sold to Mexico.
