Retired in 1997-2000. 8063 & 3 other units were bought by a used car dealer in Weed, CA. They were spotted for sale in 2003-2005. 8052 was bought by a private owner in the Dunsmuir/Mt. Shasta area. It became a partial RV conversion and was later sold. It may have been one of the units previously spotted for sale in Weed, CA. 1 unit was bought by a private owner/dealer in Reno, NV. It was listed for sale in 2006.

They were spotted for sale in 2003-2005. Some units were bought by Transit Sales International/Shuttle Bus Leasing. 8909 & other units were spotted in use in 2007. 8917 (F718) was repainted back into the Foothill Transit livery and was spotted for sale in Nevada circa 2010.

Retired & auctioned off in 2011-2012. 9833 & 1 unknown unit were bought by Zacher's Auto Salvage in Harbor City, CA. 9833 was scrapped in 2012. 9840 was auctioned off as a non-runner on 6/28/2014. It was the last unit to leave the property.
