30 Penticton/Summerland is a local/regional route operated by South Okanagan-Similkameen Transit System in Penticton and Summerland, BC.
Route Description
Route 30 originates in Summerland, operating south on Highway 97 to Cherry Lane Shopping Centre in Penticton; after arriving at Cherry Lane, buses return to Summerland. Two trips per direction divert off of Highway 97 into the community of Trout Creek.
History
- July 1, 2017: Summerland Transit System is amalgamated into South Okanagan-Similkameen Transit System; Summerland route 1 is renumbered to route 30.
- January 4, 2022: Midday trip added on Monday through Friday schedule with Saturday service being introduced.[1]
