2 South Fraser was a local route operated by Central Fraser Valley Transit System in Abbotsford, BC.

Route Description

Route 2 operated with two different variants from Bourquin Exchange:

  • South Fraser via Guilford/McMillan: Via South Fraser to Marshall, looping via Guilford, Old Yale, McMillan (alternating clockwise/counterclockwise) [1]
  • South Fraser via Trethewey: Via South Fraser, Trethewey, to Gladwin [2]

During the school year, the Trethewey variant operated a school special in the morning serving W.J. Mouat Sr. Secondary School and Chief Dan George Middle School.

After 17:30 on weekdays and Saturdays, the Guilford/McMillan variant operated a night routing combined with route 7 Sumas Mountain.

History

  • August 24, 2003: Service to Guildford discontinued and replaced by route 16 McMillan
    • Service to Tretheway retained as 2 Trethewey
  • August 29, 2004: Service to Trethewey discontinued and replaced by route 6 Gladwin-Trethewey
