Had lunch at Dutch Delicious with a neighbor after shopping at Safeway. I had a Frikandel (deep fried sausage) on a bun, and fries with Dutch Mayonnaise. (Photos from Dutch Delicious FB page) The Frikandel is the bottom photo of the two.

It was quite busy, and I ended up repeating the sandwich order to another server, and in the mix up I ended up with TWO Frikandels each on a bun. I paid for the second one and got it to go.

Went to the CNE in Toronto, Canada earlier today (for the final time of the operating season) and stopped by the food truck frenzy (the food building is uber-congested - especially during the final weekend). 

This is the meal I ate: Tandoori Chicken Fries with some Butter Chicken Samosas. Sadly I didn't get a chance to see you folks on what the filling is like inside....

Breakfast Sandwich from Dutch Delicious.  Two fried eggs, sausage, ham, lots of Smoked Gouda Cheese, and arugula on a Kaiser Roll. I added some Jalapeno Spiced Havarti and some tomato slices.

Open faced Cheese (Spiced Havarti & German Butter Cheese) sandwich with Tomato on toasted Pumpernickel Rye.

A dash of savory salt-free seasoning sprinkled on top.

Tried Western Sandwich Co.

I had the Classic Egg Bagel. Buttered and toasted bagel, arugula aioli, egg, Gouda cheese, double-smoked bacon, oven-roasted tomato. It came with a choice of side, I had the hash browns.

It was quite good, but I had forgotten how dense bagels are and I had to take half of it home.

Then popped in next door to Ashford House Pub to wash it down with a Guinness Caesar. (Always enough 'room' for one of those LOL)

An Olive, Mushroom, Red Pepper flatbread from Cobs Bakery.  I added some shredded cheese and sliced Heirloom tomato.

Took my son out for lunch. We had Chinese Hot Pot. Very tasty, and lots of fun. Guess who forgot to take photos...

Supper, Cheese (German Butter Cheese and 'Steak Spice' Havarti)  & Veggie (Butter Leaf Lettuce and Heirloom tomato slices) on Pumpernickel Rye bread.

A neighbor bought some buns and brought over a Roast Beef 'bunwich'.  I added some horseradish mustard, 'steak spiced' Havarti cheese, sliced Heirloom tomato and some butter leaf lettuce.

Spicy Mushroom, Lemon Verbena, Cayenne Soup from RGE RD. I added some Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce, some grated 'Nacho Cheese' mix, and some Jalapeno & Cheddar Smokie rounds.

Butter Leaf Lettuce tossed in Three Diamond Dressing with salad granola, baby medley tomatoes, crispy onion and shredded cheese.

Nachos.   A mix of Tri-Colored Nacho chips and healthy low sodium root vegetable chips. Melted Nacho cheese, Guacamole, and Spicy 'plant based' Queso. I tossed some baby medley tomatoes on there as well.

A Thanksgiving Yorkie Wrap with Lattice Fries.

This is from my trip to the Food Truck Corral in Oshawa, ON, Canada (where the various food trucks serve food from the beginning of May until early November).

Sadly, the locale isn't accessible by bus (I had to take an Uber from the college that I used to went back in the days to the venue where I ate my meal).

I just finished a Marie Callender meal-in-a-bowl; don't remember what it was called but it had chicken, broccoli, flat noodles, and a tasty white sauce. I have a couple more in the freezer  that I got at Publix during BOGO sale.

Since Northern Chicken introduced their BBQ menu a few weeks ago I have had my heart set on trying their Brisket. I finally made it there today, even though it was sunny and bordering on almost too hot outside (but at least no smoke in the air).

So, guess what they were all out of today... Brisket. I have that kind of (bad) luck. So anyhow, I had a Pickle Juice Caesar, and some BBQ Pulled Pork Mac 'n' Cheese. The drink was excellent, but despite having award winning mac 'n' cheese, the dish could have been livelier.  If I do order it again, I will request some chopped up jalapeno bits in there.

A neighbor brought over some Hungarian Pepper Stew over rice. She said it normally has bacon n it, but since neither of us had any bacon, I added some Jalapeno & Cheddar smokie rounds.
