These were treated exactly like a 24:20 signal trip because the operators were informed not to leave their start point until a CAD message was sent which was sent at around 24:21 from what I observed. I also observed something interesting about the key number, the 302 was 928-133 which I've never actually observed a 133 key being used by a Calgary Transit bus.

928-133 is a floater key. Use of regular Key numbers in the 130s were removed in the march 2012 signup when they went to 101, 102, 103 etc for a signup then to the current 141, 142, 143, etc. I used to be signed on 3-133

The operator had a choice. Not cool what he did.  I remember during the 2013 flood and afterwards. We were told explicitly that if water enters the floor of the bus, we are not to proceed. If not for care of the equipment, what about the customers? All their feet are wet.

The same day, at 52nd and 72 ave s.e., a bunch of 23's both ways parked their buses following coming upon this:

Similarly, when operating the train, you can no longer see the rail, we are not supposed to proceed.

I can remember driving the 57 during a very heavy rain that flooded 36th just north of Memorial (by the entrance to Marlborough Mall). Control had told the ops that you could drive through water up to the depth of half-way up the windshield. The key ahead of me went through and fried the electronics. but I was directed through the Marlborough Mall parking lot by CPS so my bus was fine. I did however still got water along the floor of the bus and my passengers just lifted their feet, they were more happy to get home than have the bus breakdown.

Interesting how the 3 has seen no adjustment for weekend frequency (it's still crowded-like busy in the north section of that route most of the day!). The 301 definitely needed that bump though, much needed and a start.

Ooh, an improvement in weekend service span! Great news. Can it be implied that Route 302 will run until 24:20 on weekdays as well?

I’ve used the south section of Route 3 a couple of times recently on the weekend and the buses are quite busy there too — and it was late enough that there was no potential relief from Routes 17 or 449. I hope there is the possibility of a weekend service bump on Route 3 during a future signup.

Train riders will welcome this adjustment.

It was an emergency service to help with crowding at City hall as trains could not keep up with the loads

In that case, are there any plans to offer trains more than every 10 minutes during the day for the rest of this workweek? I see enhanced Red Line service doesn't return (on paper) until Saturday.

When did the 300 no longer require the additional fare when departing the airport? I know the Fare Innovations Report mentioned previously in this thread recommended its discontinuation, but didn't know it was actually adopted. Someone mentioned on Reddit today that fact, and I don't recall seeing an announcement anywhere. Sure enough, there's no mention of such a fare on CT's Fares & Passes page, and it's no longer an option for purchase in the MyFare app.

About time!

Now, if only the traffic engineering experts could fix the Kensington Road/10th Street/Memorial Drive N.W. shemozzle so Routes 1, 4 and 5 would run more reliably. Avoiding that rush hour fiasco is one of the major benefits of Route 305.

A loop in strathcona and a loop in sirocco no west hills service

I am extremely curious how that new 108 will look in terms of routing. The name suggests connecting Valley Ridge to West LRT after all…?

Similar to the 408 however there is a more direct route being used to crestmount and valley ridge
