80-040_Guy-Concordia
An Orleans Express bus, 5909, may of fell into a hole that was covered by steel at the corner of Jeane-Mance and Maisonneuve. The bus' rear right wheels appeared to be in the hole and was leaning a lot towards that side. And all of this was behind the big stage at Place des Arts for the Alouettes parade and celebrations! He probably picks 200 because he thinks people waiting will think it is doing another route and not get mad.--- I won't post what I saw today, just what I rode on. I rode 13-100 on the 162X (Run 43) I rode 15-116 on the 51 (Run 51) I rode 24-254 on the 535 (run 99) and I rode 29-111 (Had a flashing all orange side display) on the 90 (Run 63)
M. David
Yeah, you're probably right about that. There used to be an in-joke at SL & LE where drivers who were deadheading would sign up as 109 Shevchenko or 555 Navette Speciale. I've also seen some drivers ues 167 La Plage, which is where I bet some of them wish they were, ha ha . Even weirder still, once I saw a bus that had come off of the 51 signed up as 222 [blank]! And there's one LA driver who signs his bus as 87 [blank] when he does school specials that go to Metro Angrignon. There's also been reports of some AN drivers signing up as 252 Navette Industriel or something of the like. One SD driver who used to do the 369 a lot would always have his bus signed up as Nature Culture while he was laying over at Metro Guy-Concordia before he began his run. I have no idea what that PR message is supposed to mean, but the STM sure has some creative ones, that's for sure. But one thing remains certain - some drivers put up some pretty random stuff when they're deadheading, that's for sure. Makes for some very interesting photos if you can get 'em. -- Today's Sightings 12 / 03 / 09 162: 15-089, 29-075 161: 24-264, 29-033 with >>, 29-006 with >>, 13-076, 13-073, 14-088 90: 15-094 144: 18-045 66: 29-098 HS: 29-021 with >> (DH SB Clanranald) Ayeobe adds: 28: 13-005 Star Sightings: An MCI. Gerbil
I got 29-085 on the 105 today, when I was on board, I noticed that one of the seats in the back had the bottom section pulled off, so it was just plastic. After I got off 29-085, 29-087 pulls into the 90 stop, I get on, and I noticed it smelled like paint in there, when I looked back I saw black graffiti all over, on the plastic part of the slanted back roof, on the floor, on the window, on the metal side of the row of seats, and on the white panels at the top of the stairs, next to the seats. I remember riding this bus when it was brand new, on the 66, it smelled new, it was soo clean, but now, its the most vandalized 3rd gen in the Stm, from my point of view. Whoever did that, mustn't have cared about the cameras watching him/her doing it. ----------------------------------- 105: Palindrome 24-242, 25-238 (Had some kind of electrical problem at Vendome, driver told everyone to get off. 24-242 was right behind it at Vendome so I got on it.), 29-085. 90: 27-533, 27-534, 28-006, 29-087. 51: 22-271, 27-002. 144: 27-012. 104: 27-51X, Palindrome 29-092. 138: 29-086. 162: 24-281, 29-100. 24: 28-118 (Driver announced each stop)

Matt Demers
14-018 is dead at Capital Bus Parts. I remember riding that bus last on the 460 late in the morning. -- St. Laurent's 14-078 was doing either the 100 or 460 this morning. 23-222 (St. Denis? St. Laurent still?) was doing the 139 this morning.
M. David
23s 220 - 222 are all still St. Denis buses, so basically, what you saw might have been an extra violation. -- My brother told me he got 15-048 on the 138 early this morning at around 6:38. He said it was very strange inside for some reason. There are no scheduled non-accessible runs on the 138 (I checked the Planibus), so I assume that 15-048 was either a changeoff or a replacement for an LFS that would have otherwise gotten stuck in today's massive snowstorm. Later on, I saw 15-093 on the 162.
