Got on it. 13-054 was doing the 141 this morning. 25-222 was coming from Anjou or some other route as HS with the Chasse Toyota dealer rear wrap still on! 14-019 going North on St. Michel as the 430 after AM rush hour. There is a message on the door that says that nobody is to enter until further notice and was signed by the CO of Lasalle CT, and yellow DANGER tape around the structure. So to make up for that, there were 2 CO Vans parked one at the traffic light, and one at the centre orange garage door entrance, with 2 COs in the vans, and 2 CO's walking around. Not the most pleasant place for busfanning today... But I got to see quite a few 12's and 11-003, but it's been on the 506 every day it seems. Looks like I'll think twice before going back to Angrignon for photo ops again. COs scare the heck out of me for some reason. But yes, Angrignon is a good place to find 12s sometimes. I found 12-032 there on the 78 earlier this week. It looks and sounds great, but its windows have so much scratchitti on them, that I think it should be given the Most Scratchittied Bus at CT LaSalle award or something. Here are the results! 214: 17-003, 15-129, 15-067, 21-229, 28-019 215: 22-349 216: 21-257, 26-018, 22-340, 21-270 I could basically do the same thing, since I have the 104, 138, 161, and 162 all within walking distance of my house. The 162 actually stops right across the street from my house. However, there's rarely anything interesting on any of those routes, though. Anyway, here ay my signtings for August 1st: -22-367 on the 161. Rode it. -22-369 on the 161. -17-163 on the 165. -13-094 on the 161 with no rear STM URL. -17-161 on the 161. Smartassness strikes again! -22-370 & 24-258 on the 160. -24-225 on the 161. Rode it. My brother got on at Metro Plamondon, and we rode the 161 home together. -17-164 on the 165 with an STCUM logo above the front door. -14-176 on the 161 at Metro Plamondon. Oddly enough, 14-176 is an anagram of 17-164. Weird . -Mont-Royal's 18-053 on the 162. -St. Laurent's 22-251 on the 162. The summer of displaced buses continues... And there you have it. For the 'Fools of Transit' sighting of the day: A driver and a passenger trying to close an open emergency exit on a 9-5XX at TCV today, stalling all passengers from getting on the 45 for a good 5 minutes. These two fools were so stupid it pissed me off. They kept trying to close it while pulling down on the handle...hmmm...now why did that not work? OH!!! MAYBE BECAUSE THAT IS HOW YOU OPEN IT!!!!!!!!! GEEEEEEZ! If they wouldn't have gotten it withing the next 2 min, which they somehow did, I was ready to jump on the bus, tell them to step aside and do it for them in under 5 seconds... continuing the trend, some idiot dispatcher sent a 9-6XX onto the 90 today. I'm sure everyone appreciated that one, even though this run wasn't so bad, it was near the end of RH, must not have been too amusing earlier in the day. I was too tired, and paperless to write dow the 9-0XX sightings I got today, but there were a good number, at least two on the 45, one on the 90, two in the Quai Nord, and one lazy Chaufrette one the 142|Blank...this one stuck out since it was none other than good ol' 9-001... Since summer schedules started, you can see everything on the 90 during rush hour. Classics, old and new LFS and artics bus. On the 45, you can also see old and new LFS during rush hour. Someone explained to me that on these buses break pads worn out faster than other buses. This means you can see more 1st gen LFS on the road outside rush hour. Usually RTL only has LFS from the years 2000 and up outside rush hour except if the driver decides otherwise . So here's some unusual RTL sightings for this Saturday. 9-401 as a spare bus at Terminus Longueuil 9-402 as a spare bus at Terminus Longueuil 9-804 on the 177 in the afternoon 9-902 on the 17/71 All day 9-905 as a spare bus at Terminus Longueuil 9-915 on the 16 all day Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
