York Region Transit 001-014

York Region Transit 001-014 are 40' Orion 05.501 built in 1999-2000, and acquired by YRT in 2003.

They were originally GO Transit 1150-1163, and were bought in August 2003 with the transfer of the Bayview and Yonge 'C' services to YRT. They were renumbered into the standard YRT numbering, with a 0 for its year of make (2000).

These buses see service on 1 Highway 7, 3 Thornhill-York University, 4 Major Mackenzie, 10 York University-Woodbridge, 20 Jane-Concord, 23 Thornhill Woods, 81 Inspiration, 83 Trench, 85A/85B Rutherford-16th and 87 Langstaff-Maple. They were originally put onto the same routes that replaced the GO routes they used to run on, 91 Bayview and 99 Yonge 'C'.

These buses previously had "Moving York" slogan under the side advertisements. The slogans have since been removed.

• Only buses in YRT fleet that has an LCD screen.
• They are also the only buses in the YRT fleet to be numbered with a 0 first, as YRT uses only the last digit for buses built after 1999; most other systems use 2 digits even for post-1999 buses.
