Route description

Route 72 serves the communities of Downtown Victoria, Uptown, Royal Oak, Saanichton, Sidney, and Swartz Bay. Its northern terminus is Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal, and the southern terminus is Legislature Exchange.

The last northbound trip of the night terminates at Lands End Road rather than the ferry terminal.

On weekday afternoons when school is in session, on trip operates as school special from McDonald Park Rd @ Bayfield to Saanichton exchange, signed as 72 Saanichton Exchange.
