September 1999 - Service introduced as peak-period only route^[1]
September 2006 - Midday and Saturday service improved to half hourly frequencies
September 2008 - Four additional trips added to address overcrowding issues
September 2009 - Sunday service improved to half hourly frequencies
2011 - Midday service combined with route 511 to form route 512, all midday, weekend and reverse-peak 510 service discontinued.
October 2021 - Stop added at Mountlake Terrace Freeway Station in both directions to allow for connections to and from Northgate Station
