510 Everett/Seattle is an express bus route operated by Sound Transit in the Puget Sound area of Washington State.

Route Details

This north-south express bus route runs between Everett Station and Downtown Seattle, with service only in the peak direction (towards Seattle in the morning, towards Everett in the afternoon).

Select early morning trips serve Downtown Everett before continuing south on the regular route, all other trips terminate at Everett Station.

History

  • September 1999 - Service introduced as peak-period only route[1]
  • September 2006 - Midday and Saturday service improved to half hourly frequencies
  • September 2008 - Four additional trips added to address overcrowding issues
  • September 2009 - Sunday service improved to half hourly frequencies
  • 2011 - Midday service combined with route 511 to form route 512, all midday, weekend and reverse-peak 510 service discontinued.
  • October 2021 - Stop added at Mountlake Terrace Freeway Station in both directions to allow for connections to and from Northgate Station
